- Desire to participate
- Knowledge of how to change
- Ability to do it (time, leadership buy-in)
- Reinforcement - how to make change stick
Will take longer at first, then better
Three phases: Prepare, Enact, Maintain
Peer champion - tell people:
- "You are our champion of this area."
or
- "We have an important role for you to play."
